Description

Arpeggiator-synchronized binary-pattern generator. It uses the same pattern logic as binary(), but runs from the arpeggiator sample position, the same time base as posarp().

Arguments

• pattern: integer rhythm bit pattern
• line: pattern line / length selector, where 0 gives 8 steps, 1 gives 16 steps, 2 gives 32 steps, etc.

Typical Values

Use it as an extra envelope or gate inside presets that rely on the Arpeggiator. BPM is taken from Syntropy, so the formula remains portable between host tempos.

Notes

If the Arpeggiator is off, binaryarp() follows the same position as the current voice, so it remains usable in normal played presets.
