Amplitude quantizer/bit-crush style function. The second argument controls the number of steps; low step counts sound rougher.
Use moderate values first, then increase modulation depth while listening for clipping, aliasing, or excessive filter resonance.
crush(sin(X), 12+48*param(3))
crush() is a mathematical signal processor, not an oscillator. It quantizes the signal supplied to its first argument.
