Description

Saturation/drive shaper. The second argument is gain/amount; 0.0 is clean/bypassed, values around 0.1 to 1.0 are typical, and higher values can get aggressive.

Arguments

• input: audio/control signal to process
• amount: effect amount or strength

Typical Values

Use moderate values first, then increase modulation depth while listening for clipping, aliasing, or excessive filter resonance.

Notes

drive() is a mathematical signal processor, not an oscillator. At amount=0 it returns the input without intentional saturation.
