Description

Creates a gated descending saw segment inside one waveform period. The signal jumps to 1.0 at start, falls linearly to 0.0 at end, and stays 0.0 outside that region.

Arguments

• x: oscillator phase; use X for played MIDI pitch
• start: segment start position in the waveform period, 0.0 to 1.0
• end: segment end position in the waveform period, 0.0 to 1.0 and greater than start

Example

0.25*pulsesaw(X, 0.05, 0.70)

Notes

Use pulsesaw() when you want a plucked or percussive saw-like shape that is silent for part of each cycle.
