Envelope / Control
Release envelope multiplier. It uses the note length and note-off information to fade smoothly after the key is released. Its argument is measured in Syntropy's 44.1 kHz reference samples.
Example: release(44100)*sin(X)
Around 10 to 500 is fast, 1000 to 8000 is medium, and 20000+ gives long pad-like motion. In this reference domain, 44100 is one second, and Syntropy rescales internally so the audible timing stays the same at other host sample rates.
release(800+48000*param(1))
Most sustained presets multiply release() with attack() at the front of the voice formula. If your formula does not use release(), notes will stop much more abruptly on key-up.
