lpcloop()

Description

lpcloop() is the looping version of lpc(). It uses the same compact LPC/formant-frame vocal oscillator, but wraps the prepared syllable phrase continuously for sustained pads, arpeggios, and rhythmic vocal textures.

Arguments

• index: oscillator phase; use X for normal played pitch
• text: quoted syllable text separated by hyphens, for example "ma-ke-ri-pu"
• timbre: vocal tract character, usually 0 to 1
• speed: syllable playback speed. 1 is normal speed.

Example

Notes

Use lpc() when the phrase should finish and become silent. Use lpcloop() when the phrase should repeat while the note is held.
